learning to knit

I've branched out into bigger projects since starting this blog, but a little hat is still the perfect bite-sized piece for me. I'm trying different stitches, learning a bit about gauge and yarns, and much about patience. Knitting seems to be in part about the ability to let go. Start something, maybe pull it apart, start again, and allow the process to be the product.
