birthday hat

Today is Dylan's first birthday celebration. He is my friend Gina's son and I made this hat for him. Isager wool on US3 needles. I like having the subtle contrasting stripe and binding around the tassels.

mushroom and red beanie

Fall is coming! The weather has been glorious—crisp and delightful. It's a good time for cleaning up the garden and the house as well. I wanted to finish up some balls of yarn with this mushroom and red cashmerino on US5 needles. Love the colors, not my favorite design.

cashmere feather

This is my first project made with 100% cashmere. It's so soft and smooth to work with. I felt like my hands were getting some sort of special treatment. This is knit with US3 needles. I just can't seem to get a good photo of this, it keeps going really blue when it's actually a quiet little green.

Just a soft little swatch for now.
