not for me

I used up a good part of one of the skeins of yarn I got for this sweater. I am not loving it, although the yarn feels good and it seems to knit so quickly since I've gotten used to smaller needles. But realistically, I don't think I would ever wear it other than in the garden and I'd rather spend time making something I really like. So back went 4 skeins to the store and what I started here has turned back into a ball of yarn destined for something else. Maybe a scarf or a hat.

This is a pale gray (paler than the photos show) and white. I may put a bit of fluffy something on top. Isager Alpaca 2 on US4 needles for newborn. It's soft, light, and delicate. CO 90.

front done

Below is a swatch for a sweater I may try next. I bought the yarn sight-unseen and don't think I love it, but I'll see how it looks in a larger piece before giving it up.
