This one's not going to happen. I tried a new stitch for the ribbing, but it's not giving enough for a hat — especially for a squirmy baby. So I pulled it apart.

Cashmerino using US5 needles for toddler/child/smallhead. co 96 on US3. I gave it to cute 3-year-old Theo and it's too big for him, but maybe that means he'll have it for a long time!

cashmere ribbing

Cashmere using US3 needles, with US2s for the small ribbing. For size 3–6 months. For some reason, I had the hardest time keeping count on the main ribbing which is just knit 6, purl 6. co 112
