Turns out I couldn't live with the mistake. I needed to start this over after reading the stitch chart all wrong. Lesson learned: print patterns out in color. I wasn't seeing part of the direction because I didn't see the color clues in the chart. Thanks to Mimi's help and patience (hooray for the Needle Lady), I believe this is now working as intended. I love the feel of this yarn!

I am knitting this cardigan also from the top down, with US 5 needles using Quince & Co.'s beautiful Tern, a wool and silk blend yarn. I've made a mistake that I plan to live with. I didn't quite understand the chart and although I knew it didn't seem right, I just kept going. So I have little stripes at the top where instead the zig zag should connect. Pattern is also from Quince: Brock.
