my first fair isle

Isager wool, 3–6 months
(from a pattern published by Purl Bee on 1/3/12)

My first successful attempt at color work. Even though I wasn't sure if the inside yarn-carrying was right, the women at the knitting shop said it looked good. I had only three contrasting colors when I started and bought two more when I needed them. I would have stacked them up a bit differently had I had all the colors at the start. Next time I'll try my own pattern, although this is quite lovely. Again the Isager wool delights—it's so soft and weightless. This was knitted on US3 needles.
